A Typical Flight

The Oxford Balloon Company offers hot air balloon flights with a personal touch. Here is what we provide:

Your voucher for the flight, inscribed with the name of the recipient, is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.		Before the flight, the pilot will brief you fully on what to do and what to expect -
	and you are encouraged to get involved with pre-flight preparations.
The balloon envelope is then laid out flat on the field		and inflated with cold air using a fan.
	The pilot then uses the burners to fill the balloon with hot air and asks you to join him in the basket.
and after the final checks, launches gently into the skies.		The peace of the flight allows the beauty of the countryside to be enjoyed...
Finally, after about an hour's flight (depending upon the conditions), the pilot will land safely in a field, and the passengers can celebrate with a glass of champagne before being collected by the ground crew...	... and leave with a certificate to commemorate an unforgettable experience!
